Description: A personal story based on the filmmaker's
life. After his brother Alik was mobilized to fight the
Germans in WW II, Irra and his parents left for Kiev.
This animated film depicts his experience as a young
boy during wartime: leaving his home, experiencing air
raids, and being separted from his brother. The filmmaker
uses oil paintings by his grandfather, his father, and
himself to tell the story.

Description: Abstracted biomorphic forms that hint at
the loss of botanical diversity. The title refers to
the shapes created by condensation and to the line of
radar stations (Distant Early Warning) built in Alaska
during the Cold War. Made with Flash animation, the colors
are bolder and crisper than Priestley's drawn animation,
but her distinctive style and lyrically comic sense of
movement and interaction remains intact.
